Colorful, cheerful and filled with French country charm, the Fleuri Round Plate celebrates the beauty of flowers through the centuries-old art of Quimper faience.
Handcrafted and hand-painted by Henriot Quimper in Quimper, Brittany, France, this 10-inch plate features the delightful floral decoration of the Fleuri collection. Its fresh colors and graceful flowers make it especially beautiful for spring and summer dining, garden entertaining, French country kitchens, and casual gatherings with family and friends.
Quimper’s remarkable tradition of faience pottery dates back to 1690. For more than three centuries, generations of artisans have preserved the art of creating and decorating pottery by hand in Quimper, producing the distinctive French faience that has become treasured by collectors around the world.
Each piece of Henriot Quimper faience is completely handmade and individually hand-painted by a skilled artist from start to finish. The artist signs the finished piece and marks it Henriot, helping authenticate its origin.
Because every plate is painted by hand, subtle variations in flowers, color and brushwork are part of the beauty of genuine Quimper pottery. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Perfect for everyday dining or entertaining, the Fleuri 10-inch Round Plate brings the relaxed beauty of a French garden to the table. Pair it with other pieces from the Fleuri collection to create a colorful table setting with the unmistakable charm of Brittany, France.
