Bright, cheerful and filled with French country charm, the Fleuri Miniature Plate is a delightful example of authentic Quimper faience, handmade and hand-painted in Quimper, Brittany, France.
The Fleuri pattern features colorful floral decoration inspired by the beauty and simplicity of a French garden. Its lively flowers and traditional hand-painted brushwork give this petite plate a relaxed, welcoming character that works beautifully in both traditional and casual interiors.
Measuring just 4.75 inches, the Fleuri Miniature Plate is perfect for displaying in a French country kitchen, china cabinet, garden room, bookshelf, or tabletop. Display it individually as a small decorative accent or group it with other miniature Quimper plates to create a colorful collection of French pottery.
Its petite size also makes it a charming gift for a Quimper collector, gardener, Francophile, or anyone who loves French country style.
Quimper’s remarkable tradition of faience pottery dates back to 1690. For more than three centuries, generations of artisans have preserved the distinctive tradition of creating and decorating pottery by hand in this historic Breton town.
Each Fleuri plate is individually hand-painted, giving every piece its own personality. Subtle variations in the flowers, colors and brushwork are part of the beauty and character of genuine Quimper pottery.
Whether displayed on its own, given as a special gift, or added to a collection of miniature Quimper plates, the Fleuri Miniature Plate brings the cheerful beauty of a French garden and the artistry of Brittany into the home.
