Begin your morning with a touch of French country charm with the beautiful Camaïeu Pink Coffee Mug, handmade and hand-painted by Henriot Quimper in Quimper, Brittany, France.
Decorated in the delicate Camaïeu Pink palette, this generously sized 16-ounce mug features graceful monochromatic decoration in soft shades of pink. The subtle variations created by the artist’s brushwork give each mug its own individual character and the unmistakable charm of authentic Quimper faience.
Perfect for a generous cup of morning coffee, café au lait, tea, or hot chocolate, this larger Quimper mug brings the warmth and romance of the French countryside to an everyday ritual. Its soft pink decoration is especially lovely in a French country kitchen, at a leisurely breakfast table, or paired with other pieces from the Camaïeu Pink collection.
Quimper’s remarkable tradition of faience pottery dates back to 1690. For more than three centuries, generations of artisans have preserved the art of creating and decorating pottery by hand in Quimper, Brittany.
Each piece of Quimper faience is completely handmade and individually hand-painted by a skilled artist from start to finish. The artist signs the finished piece and marks it Henriot, helping authenticate its origin.
Because every mug is painted entirely by hand, subtle variations in shades of pink, brushwork and decorative details are part of the beauty of genuine Quimper pottery. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Whether filled with your first coffee of the morning or a leisurely afternoon café au lait, the Camaïeu Pink Coffee Mug brings centuries of French craftsmanship and the enduring charm of Brittany to every cup.
