Bright, cheerful and unmistakably French, the Happy Fish Plate brings the colors and coastal spirit of Brittany to your table.
Part of the whimsical Happy Fish Collection, this 9.5-inch plate features a lively hand-painted fish motif surrounded by fresh, summery colors. Each piece is individually decorated by hand, giving it the distinctive character and charm for which Quimper pottery is celebrated.
Handcrafted in Quimper, Brittany, France, this colorful French faience continues a remarkable pottery-making tradition that dates back to 1690. For more than three centuries, Quimper has been renowned for its hand-painted faience and distinctive Breton designs.
Perfect for everyday dining, entertaining, or display, the Happy Fish Plate can be paired with other pieces from the collection to create a wonderfully cheerful French-inspired table.
Because each piece is painted by hand, subtle variations in brushwork and color are part of the beauty of authentic Quimper faience and make every plate unique.
