Bring the fresh spirit of the Breton coast to your table with the Escale Pitcher, handcrafted and hand-painted in Quimper, Brittany, France. Inspired by Brittany’s close connection to the sea, the Escale pattern has a cheerful coastal character that is especially at home in beach houses, seaside settings, and relaxed summer dining.
With a generous 1-liter capacity, this beautiful pitcher is perfect for serving iced tea, lemonade, water, or other favorite beverages. Its colorful hand-painted decoration also makes it a wonderful display piece for a kitchen, dining room, or French country interior.
The tradition of pottery making in Quimper dates to 1690. For more than three centuries, generations of skilled artisans have preserved the distinctive techniques that have made Quimper faience treasured around the world. Each piece is handcrafted and individually hand-painted, giving every pitcher its own unique character.
Pair the pitcher with plates, bowls, platters, and serving pieces from the Escale collection to create a colorful French coastal table. Because each piece is painted by hand, slight variations in color and brushwork are part of its handmade character and make every piece unique.
