Elegant, colorful and filled with the beauty of a French garden, the Fleuri Royal Miniature Plate is a charming example of authentic Quimper faience, handmade and hand-painted in Quimper, Brittany, France.
The Fleuri Royal pattern features richly colored floral decoration with the graceful, expressive brushwork that gives hand-painted Quimper pottery its distinctive character. Its vibrant flowers and refined French styling make this petite plate especially lovely for anyone who enjoys floral décor and traditional French craftsmanship.
Measuring 4.75 inches, the Fleuri Royal Miniature Plate is perfect for display in a French country kitchen, china cabinet, garden room, bookshelf, or tabletop. Quimper’s remarkable tradition of faience pottery dates back to 1690. For more than three centuries, generations of artisans have preserved the art of creating and decorating pottery by hand in this historic Breton town.
Each Fleuri Royal plate is individually hand-painted by a skilled artist. Subtle variations in the flowers, colors and brushwork ensure that every piece has its own individual character.
