The elegant Camaïeu Pink pattern features delicate monochromatic pink decoration, creating a graceful and distinctly French appearance. Its soft pink-and-white palette gives this espresso set a refined character and makes it a beautiful addition to a collection of authentic Quimper faience.
The tradition of Quimper pottery dates to 1690, when faience production began in the historic Locmaria district of Quimper, Brittany. For more than three centuries, Quimper has become celebrated for its distinctive hand-painted pottery and the generations of skilled artisans who have preserved this remarkable French ceramic tradition.
Each piece of Quimper pottery is individually handcrafted and hand-painted in Quimper, giving it the distinctive character for which authentic Quimper faience is known. Subtle variations in color and brushwork are part of the artisan process and ensure that each piece is truly unique.
